IDWeek is the joint annual meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA), the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS), and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). It is the premier international scientific meeting of health care professionals in infectious disease and healthcare epidemiology and prevention. Attendees also include researchers, clinicians, quality and patient safety practitioners, public healthcare officials, medical students and residents. IDSA, SHEA, HIVMA and PIDS member registration opens May 5, and general registration opens June 2.
IDWeek is a forum for health professionals of varied backgrounds to collaborate and cooperate. IDWeek provides an opportunity to learn from each other’s knowledge, scientific research, experience and expertise, for the improvement of patient care and public health.
