Eurofins Viracor is proud to announce the launch of our new composting program, designed to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility within our workplace. This initiative encourages employees to actively participate by composting a variety of organic materials such as meat, bread, cheese, fruit, vegetation, coffee filters & grounds, shellfish, bones, uncoated paper products, and compostable silverware. By diverting these items from landfills, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint significantly. It's important to note that the program strictly prohibits the inclusion of metal, plastic, glass, Styrofoam, fabric, rubber, and liquids to ensure the purity and quality of our compost. Collection bins are strategically placed in the breakroom and are regularly emptied by our Facilities team, facilitating seamless integration into our waste management process.
