You have probably seen the headlines related to the Global Computer Outage for Microsoft Azure. The cause is attributed to a faulty cyber security update affecting Microsoft Computers globally, leading to disruptions to many organizations.
Eurofins Viracor, however, was not impacted by this outage.
There are still current outages that are impacting commercial flights primarily United, Delta, and American Airlines. Most of our shipments fly cargo on Southwest Airlines which appears to not be impacted. After talking with our FedEx Representative, they are anticipating running full operation this evening. However, based on the nature of the outage, it is somewhat unpredictable. We continue to be in constant contact with FedEx regarding this issue.
